The Outreach Ministry of St. Martin's Episcopal Church Williamsburg Virginia

What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8

A commitment to bold and innovative
outreach was one of the founding hallmarks of St. Martin’s, and we continue to strive to be a beacon in our community. We give our time and talents both publicly and privately, as a church and as individuals.

Considering Mentoring?

Considering being a mentor?  I offer you this profile of a real boy awaiting a Big Brother through our local agency.  He is nine years old and loves airplanes and military history, especially WWII.  He hopes to have a career in the military someday.  He also loves to draw and make things with his hands.

He has never known a stable family life.  His mother is incarcerated and his father has never been a part of his life.

This young man would benefit a great deal from friendship with a man willing to devote his time and shares his interests on a regular basis.  If you are interested, please contact Debbie Coleman at 229-4486.  Of course, any prospective mentors will need to complete the screening process and trainings provided by Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
